Materials

Whilst much of the work we look after requires local material we have imported stones from France, USA, Belgium, India and China.  Much of our work requires sourcing of stone to match existing for restoration or refurbishment. Selection of material for hard landscaping works presents its own issues around durability, colour, texture and workability—all areas with which we have years of experience.

 

Mortars for stone work are a vital part of the overall specification and require the same attention to detail as the stone itself.
